Privacy Policy
What information this website uses, why it is needed and how to contact us about it.

Information you choose to provide
The donation form requests your name, email, mobile number, street address, city, state, PIN code, country, amount and selected cause. These details are submitted only when you continue to payment and accept the notice. Email enquiries disclose the information you choose to include to the receiving mailbox. This website does not provide a member login or collect children’s birth dates or identity documents.
Why information is used
Donation information supports order creation, payment verification, receipt generation, reconciliation and enquiries about that transaction. Enquiry information is used to respond and coordinate the subject you contacted us about. Completing a donation does not enrol you in marketing or authorise publication of your name.
Payments and service providers
Donation details are sent through the website’s server to Razorpay and stored with the payment order. Card credentials, banking authentication and UPI PINs belong only in the payment provider’s secure flow; we do not ask for them in our form or by email. Cloudflare hosts the website and may process connection/security logs.
Google Fonts, Razorpay checkout, PDF libraries delivered through a CDN and font resources delivered through GitHub can receive routine technical connection information when those resources load. Their handling is governed by their own policies. Do not assume these services store all information exclusively in India.
Cookies and local information
The checkout uses a necessary signed payment-session cookie lasting up to seven days. It is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax and links this browser to its latest order so payment status and a receipt can be recovered. Donor details are not saved in browser local storage by the donation code. No advertising or analytics tracker is intentionally added by this website; external payment services may use their own necessary technologies. Disabling the payment cookie may prevent receipt recovery.
Retention and security
Payment records remain with the payment provider under its applicable retention arrangements and requirements. Enquiry correspondence remains in the receiving mailbox until managed by the team. An organisation-wide retention schedule has not yet been published; no fixed deletion period is promised here. HTTPS, signed payment verification and a signed session cookie are used, but no system can promise absolute security.
Your choices, corrections and requests
You can choose not to submit the form. To ask about access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent for future optional uses, contact the grievance channel with enough information to identify the request. Avoid sending passwords, OTPs, full card details or identity documents in the first message. Necessary transaction records may need to be retained; requests are handled subject to applicable obligations and identity checks.
Public profiles and children
Membership, volunteering and donating do not automatically make a person’s name or photograph public. Public recognition needs separate confirmation and permission. Children’s names, contact details, precise locations and personal circumstances are not published in a public directory. Documentary child images require appropriate guardian permission and safeguarding review; declining a photo must not affect access to help.
Questions, concerns and updates
Current contact routes are listed on Contact, including a grievance mailbox. Report an unexpected disclosure with the relevant page link and a short description. This notice will be updated when features or data practices change. It describes current website behaviour, rather than claiming certification of compliance.
Volunteer application information
When you apply to volunteer, we collect the name, contact details, city, age group, interests, availability and information you provide about your experience and motivation. We use this information only to assess your interest, contact you about suitable opportunities and support responsible volunteer screening. We do not publicly publish applications or treat applications as confirmed membership. Please use the Contact page to request correction or deletion of your application information.
Account profile information
Account registration stores your name, email, password hash and policy acceptance date. Organisation, designation and phone are optional profile fields. Your signed-in account page displays these details. A necessary session cookie supports login and logout. Contact the foundation through the contact page to request help with your information.
